Continuing a Tradition of Golf and Giving
For more than seven decades, tournament proceeds have helped strengthen San Diego through nonprofit partnerships and support charitable initiatives, youth programs, and organizations working to make a difference in our community.
We serve our mission primarily through selected charities, who serve at-risk and underserved communities in San Diego, receive strategy, development, and marketing services, volunteer support, and a partial match of funds raised. As a nonprofit intent on helping other nonprofits, the goal of The Century Club of San Diego is to provide the necessary tools and resources to bolster the community partners’ ability to build capacity to achieve their long-term goals in fulfilling their missions.

The Century Club of San Diego
As the operational team behind the tournament, the Century Club of San Diego is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation that has proudly hosted the event since 1961. Using golf as a platform to showcase San Diego on a global stage while generating meaningful support for local youth and community initiatives. Together with The Sentry, we look forward to continuing the tradition of delivering a world-class PGA TOUR experience for players, fans, partners, and the San Diego community.
Champions for Youth
Champions for Youth is the Century Club’s core charitable program, designed to help local nonprofit organizations maximize their fundraising efforts through strategic resources, funding support, volunteer engagement and capacity building efforts.
- Local charities participate in a fundraising campaign running from Giving Tuesday through the conclusion of tournament week.
- Based on fundraising performance and donor participation, organizations may receive additional support through a matching pool.

Growing Golf
Growing Golf supports organizations that use golf as a vehicle to create opportunity, increase accessibility, and grow diversity within the sport.
Through partnerships with organizations including Pro Kids, First Tee – San Diego, the First Green Field Trip and GSCAA Agronomy Program, the initiative helps provide youth with education, mentorship, and pathways through golf.
Ticket Donations
The Century Club of San Diego is proud to support San Diego charities and community organizations through in-kind donations of The Sentry at Torrey Pines ticket packages for use in fundraising event auctions and raffles.
Military
San Diego is one of the largest military communities in the country, The Sentry is proud to offer discounted tickets to all Active Duty, Reserve, Retired, and Veteran military members Wednesday and Thursday.
