SENTRY TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS WINNER’S CIRCLE: JUNE

Kapalua, Maui, Hawaii – The Sentry Tournament of Champions returns to The Plantation Course at Kapalua in January as the opening event of the 2024 PGA TOUR Season. The TOUR’s annual stop on Maui welcomes TOUR winners from the previous calendar year and the top 50 players from the final FedExCup Playoffs and Eligibility Points List. With their recent titles, Viktor Hovland, Nick Taylor, and Keegan Bradley are among the latest players to qualify for the 2024 Sentry Tournament of Champions, while Wyndham Clark picked up his second victory of the season and first major championship win at the U.S. Open.

the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday

Hovland defeated Denny McCarthy on the first playoff hole to win the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday for his fourth career TOUR title. The Norwegian joins Rory McIlroy and Jon Rahm as the only players to win on TOUR in each of the last four seasons. The victory qualified the 25-year-old for his third trip to the Sentry Tournament of Champions (2021/T31; 2022/T30; 2023/T18).

RBC Canadian Open

Canadian Taylor beat England’s Tommy Fleetwood in a four-hole playoff to become the first Canadian to win the RBC Canadian Open since 1954. The 35-year-old won the playoff with a 72-foot, 6-inch putt for eagle (longer than any putt in his TOUR career) and is the first player to win a playoff with an eagle since Hideki Matsuyama at the 2022 Sony Open in Hawaii. The victory marks Taylor’s third TOUR title (2014 Sanderson Farms Championship, 2020 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am) and qualified him for his third appearance at The Planation Course at Kapalua (2015/T29; 2021/T29).

U.S. Open

Clark held off a trio of major champions (Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler, Cameron Smith) to win his first major championship and second TOUR title. The 29-year-old became the fifth straight player to win his first major championship at the U.S. Open and fifth multiple winner on TOUR this season. Clark previously qualified for this first trip to Maui and the Sentry Tournament of Champions by virtue of his win at the Wells Fargo Championship in May.

Travelers Championship

Bradley defeated Zac Blair and Brian Harman to earn his sixth career TOUR win and second of the season. The Vermont native’s 257 winning total set the new 72-hole tournament record for the Travelers Championship, previously held by Kenny Perry (258/2009). With his victory, Bradley qualified for his fifth appearance at the Sentry Tournament of Champions (2012/16; 2014/T4; 2019/T27; 2023/34).
