Kapalua, Maui, Hawaii – The Sentry Tournament of Champions returns to The Plantation Course at Kapalua in January as the opening event of the 2024 PGA TOUR Season. The TOUR’s annual stop on Maui welcomes TOUR winners from the previous calendar year and the top 50 players from the final FedExCup Playoffs and Eligibility Points List. With their recent victories, Corey Conners, Matt Fitzpatrick, Nick Hardy and Davis Riley are among the latest players to qualify for the 2024 Sentry Tournament of Champions, while 2023 Sentry Tournament of Champions winner Jon Rahm picked up his fourth win of the calendar year.

Valero Texas Open

Conners defeated PGA TOUR rookie Sam Stevens by one stroke to earn his second Valero Texas Open title. With this win and a victory in 2019, the 31-year-old became the 10th multiple winner of the event and the first player since K.H. Lee to record his first two TOUR victories at the same event (2021, 2022 AT&T Byron Nelson). The win qualified the Canadian for a return trip to the Sentry Tournament of Champions where he finished T19 in 2020 and T18 in 2023.

Masters Tournament

Rahm won the Masters Tournament by four strokes over Phil Mickelson and Brooks Koepka to earn his 11th career TOUR victory and second major championship title. The 28-year-old, who has won four times on TOUR this season, became the second consecutive winner of the Masters to have entered the week No. 1 in the FedExCup standings. With the victory, Rahm tied Sergio Garcia for most TOUR wins by a Spaniard and became the third player from Spain with multiple major titles (U.S. Open), joining Seve Ballesteros (5) and José María Olazábal (2).

RBC Heritage

Reigning U.S. Open champion Fitzpatrick defeated defending champion Jordan Spieth in a playoff to win the RBC Heritage and earn his second career TOUR win. The 28-year-old is the third player from England to win on TOUR this season (Justin Rose, Matt Wallace), which ties the most in a single season on record (1983-present) and first time since the 2017-18 PGA TOUR Season. With the victory, Fitzpatrick qualified for his second trip to Maui and the Sentry Tournament of Champions where his best finish was T7 in 2023.

Zurich Classic of New Orleans

In their tournament debut as teammates at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, Hardy and Riley won the event with a tournament-record 30-under 258. The duo became the first team at the Zurich Classic to both record their first TOUR wins at the event. With the victory, both Hardy and Riley became one of seven first-time winners on TOUR this season and qualified for their first trips to the Sentry Tournament of Champions.
